This is the first post on Flappedear — a personal brand built around one very flappy-eared corgi named Mango, and everything else that keeps me busy.
What this place is
A blog. A build log. A place to write about the things I actually care about:
- Motorsport — the GT86, track days, and the eternal N/A vs turbo debate
- 3D Printing — parts, failures, and 2am print checks
- Formula 1 — the engineering, the politics, all of it
- Cybersecurity — how I think about security, threat modelling, and the industry
- People Management — the messy, human side of leading tech teams
And Mango. There will be Mango content.
Why Flappedear
One ear up. One ear flopped. It’s Mango’s defining feature and, honestly, a good metaphor for this whole project — one foot in serious technical work, one foot firmly in chaos.
