Privacy and cookie settings.

This page explains what Flappedear collects, why it is used, and how you can change your cookie choices.

Who runs this site

Flappedear is a personal website operated by Arek Kozuch. The site is used for writing, project notes, and links to external profiles.

What is collected

The site does not ask visitors to create an account or submit personal information. Basic technical data may be processed by the hosting provider to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and keep the site available.

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may collect usage information such as page views, approximate location, device/browser details, referral source, and interaction events.

If marketing tags are added and you allow marketing storage, advertising and campaign measurement data may be processed by Google services.

Cookies and local storage

Consent choices are managed by Google's certified Consent Management Platform (CMP), which stores your preferences according to the IAB TCF 2.2 standard.

Analytics and advertising storage are denied by default. They are only granted after you explicitly consent in the consent dialog shown on your first visit.

Google services

The site uses Google Consent Mode. Google tags are present on the page, but analytics and advertising storage remain denied until you consent.

Google Analytics is configured with measurement ID G-L7FL81DLQC. A Google Ads tag may be added later and will use the same marketing consent choice.

External links

The site links to external platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Credly, and comment providers. Those services have their own privacy practices when you visit them.

Your choices

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by clicking Manage options in the consent dialog, which can be reopened via the AdSense privacy settings link shown at the bottom of any ad unit on the site. You can also clear site data in your browser to reset your consent choices.
